OA Members

Dues

The Lodge year runs from January 1 to December 31.  Dues for each year are $20 with an early bird discount of $5, if paid by December 31 for the following year.  Purchase of an Annual Pass includes your dues payment.

The Ordeal fee includes current year of dues for those going through an Ordeal in the first half the year - either the Spring or Summer Ordeal. Anyone participating the Fall Ordeal event will have their dues automatically paid for the following full year.

You may pay your dues online at anytime during the year at the following links , or in person at any of the Lodge Events.

2024 Lodge Dues

In November and December of each year we sell a Lodge Annual Pass that allows you to pre-pay for the next years dues and all of the lodge events for that year.  The Annual Pass is offered at several different levels to encourage donations to the OA Campership fund and Service Project fund.

Transfers/Reinstatement

It is true, once you are inducted into the Order, you are always a member.  The only requirements are that you are registered with a unit in your local council and then pay your lodge dues for the current year.  Every year we have several OA members that transfer into our council for a variety of reasons or they become active in scouting and the OA after an absence.  We welcome these brothers with open arms.

In order to become a part of the Yah-Tah-Hey-Si-Kess Lodge and begin receiving communications, we need for you to fill out information so that you can be added to our database and then pay your dues for the current year ($20).  Please click the following link to start the registration process:

Brotherhood Conversion (How to Seal  Your Membership)

All Ordeal members are encouraged to seal their membership in the OA as a Brotherhood member. It is important Ordeal members to seal their membership for two primary reasons: 1) you demonstrate by action your commitment to the OA national honor society; and, 2) the lodge is dependent upon Ordeal members converting to Brotherhood in order to achieve the Journey to Excellence (JTE) criteria.

It is really simple to seal your membership. No Ordeal, just a great day of Fellowship and Cheerful Service with other Order of the Arrow members. Below are the requirements to become Brotherhood member:

1. Order of the Arrow Ordeal member for 6 Months.

2. Currently registered with a Great Southwest Council unit.

3. Current Yah-Tah-Hey-Si-Kess Lodge member (dues paid up to date).

4. Write a letter of rededication to the Lodge Secretary (explaining the obligation in your words, how you use the obligation in your troop and in your daily life, and your plans for giving service in the Lodge).

5. Know the Order of the Arrow Obligation, Order of the Arrow Song, Admonition, Sign of the Ordeal and Handshake.

6. Complete the Brotherhood Ceremony
which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order.
