Dear Scout,
Congratulations on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. To recognize your dedication to Scouting and the effort you have put forth, we invite you to attend a banquet on Friday, May 31, 2024 to honor all Eagle Scouts of the
Great Southwest Council. This year, the Eagle Banquet will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Marriott Pyramid Hotel, 5151 San Francisco Rd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109. You will be sponsored at
this dinner by a local businessperson. We make every attempt to match you with a sponsor who shares a similar hobby or vocational interests.
You will be in wonderful company at the banquet! A Distinguished Citizen will be honored along with a Keynote Speaker for the event. As soon as we know who will be the other honored guests, we will forward that information to you. The Council is looking forward to meeting you and your fellow Eagles and honoring you with this enjoyable event.
Eagles – to be included in the slideshow, please send your favorite Scouting photo. It can be anything from your Court of Honor, your family, or your Eagle project – Have fun! Please copy a parent and send photos to
Kathy.Ferdig@scouting.org. Photos need to be received by Friday May 16, 2024.
Your parents, Scoutmaster, other leaders and special guests are welcome to attend. Scouting recognizes the importance of parents and leaders in your accomplishment. Therefore, we are proud to invite them to attend
the banquet. Reservations are required. All Eagle Scouts will be seated with sponsors and guests will be seated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
To confirm your attendance at this prestigious event, please return the enclosed form or register online by May 16, 2024! Guests may reserve a spot by returning the form with a $40.00 per guest payment.
