The Council would like to invite you to participate in the Eighth Annual Sporting Clays Tournament, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 21.

Teams of five people each can complete 20+ shooting stations in the sporting clays course along with the popular game trailer and five stand stations as well. This is an exciting and enjoyable event for shooters of all skill levels.

Targets (clay pigeons), 12- and 20-gauge ammunition, and meals are provided. Participants need to bring a shotgun, and eye and ear protection (all of which we can help arrange if you don’t have). The event includes a raffle with excellent prizes.

Youth age 10 and above may participate if they are accompanied by an adult and have completed the New Mexico Hunter Safety Online Course. Proceeds from this event benefit Scouting programs in our Council.
