The Tri-Council Commissioner College has been cancelled for 2020.

It is time to register for the 2020 Tri-Council Commissioner College and University of Scouting March 27-28 in lovely Ruidoso.

This is the 10th annual Tri-Council Commissioner College and University of Scouting and as usual we will start with a fun cracker barrel on Friday evening March 27th and then March 28th will be a full day of training.

Please find attached a printable flyer and a Catalog of courses and information for each of the College of Commissioner Science, College of Cub Scouting, and College of Scouts BSA. Many details are included in the flyer and the Catalogs.

Please distribute this information broadly to anyone interested in Great Southwest Council, Conquistador Council, Yucca Council, and beyond. Please share this information with commissioner meetings, roundtables, and anywhere that scouters may be interested in additional training.

Registration is underway and available online at https://scoutingevent.com/573-2020TriCouncilCommissionerCollege

Advanced registration is $30 which includes lunch, patch, course materials, and certificate. As part of the online registration you will be required to pay for your registration before you can select your courses. Refer to the Course Catalog for additional details about the courses. Please let Tess English know if you have any questions about registering.

The Commissioner College will offer advanced training for Unit, Administrative, and Roundtable Commissioners. The University of Scouting will offer advanced training for leaders of Scouts BSA Troops and Cub Packs and Dens.

Opening ceremony and training will begin at 7:45 on Saturday March 28th but please check-in Friday night or at 7:00am Saturday morning.

We will be discussing “What do you need from your District and Council” both during the cracker barrel and during lunch on Saturday we will be honored with a Fire-side Chat with our Council Commissioners. This is a great opportunity to share and hear the thoughts of other scouters in our area as we all face many of the same challenges.
