The Wood Badge W6-412-19 course will be conducted at the Rayado Ridge Leadership Camp and Zastrow backcountry camp at Philmont Scout Ranch. As a participant in this Wood Badge course, you will be among the first to experience BSA's updated centennial Wood Badge leadership training curriculum as we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Wood Badge training.

Course participants should arrive at the Philmont Training Center by 4:30 pm on Sunday, 22 September. The course will end at 5:00 pm on Friday, 27 September. Participants will have the option of departing Friday evening or staying at the training center that night and departing Saturday morning.

Prerequisites to attend Wood Badge:
• Be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America age 18 or older
• Have completed the basic training courses for your Scouting position
• Be capable of functioning safely in an outdoor environment. All participants are required to complete the BSA Annual Health & Medical Record (parts A, B, & C).
• Pay your registration fee in full.

Cost: $495
• A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required upon registration. This deposit is credited towards the total course fees.
• Registration fees must be paid in full by 23 August 2019.
• Course fees cover all program and training materials, food, facility fees, supplies, and the Wood Badge award presentation kit (awarded upon successful completion of the full training program).
• Please contact for help in identifying funding sources and assistance, if needed.

Refund Policy:
• Cancellation requests made prior to 23 August 2019 will result in refund of all paid fees minus the original $50 nonrefundable deposit.
• Cancellation requests within 30 days of the course will refund all paid fees minus $150, which includes the $50 deposit.
