Join us in an informative training session that will prepare YOU to Lead the Way into Scouting as a Den Chief. Learn how to work with den leaders and their dens, to develop skills that motivate young cub scouts to Do Their Best, and to help prepare Webelos Scouts for Boy Scouting. Our experienced staff of adult trainers will get you started and show how YOU can demonstrate leadership within your Troop and encourage Cubs to continue on the Scouting Trail. Space is limited to 30 scouts.

Course Training Components:

Roles and responsibilities of the Den Chief

 Demonstrates and teaches Leadership skills

WHO: A Boy Scout who has been approved by their Scoutmaster to serve as a den chief, is 12 years or older, and ideally 1st class rank or higher.

TIME: 8:00am—12:00pm

WHERE: Indian School LDS Church @ 12701 Indian School Blvd NE, Albuquerque (near Hinkle Family Fun Center)

COST: $10.00

INCUDES: Handouts, refreshments, official certificate

WHAT TO BRING: Den Chief Handbook (available at the Scout Shop), pen or pencil, A positive attitude is expected. Uniform is required
